APPLE FEST

Sunday 6th of October    11am-4pm

It's a kids day in our historic 19th century rural village with many learning activities.
  • Cider Pressing
  •  18th-19th Century Butter Churning 
  • Gem and Fossil Mining - a small fee of $5 per child which will go to help offset the cost of the materials.
  • Micro Orchard and Honey Market with Zees Bees and Ivy Hill
  • Spinning
  • Apple Crafts in the Gardens
  • Blacksmithing demonstrations for kids
  • Hicksville BBQ Food Truck with a kids menu.
  • Museum Orchard Exhibits in our Farm Museum
  • 19th-century log cabins and historic outbuildings
  •  Museum Scavenger Hunts - self-guided tours in the museums
  • Bring your camera! Wonderful photo opportunities with your kids sitting in the 1953 Case antique tractor and spring buggy!
