Rural History Day

Biggs Ford, Maryland's Pre-Historic Past

Saturday May 3rd      1:00pm -2:30pm
Learn about the Biggs Ford Site  a large, well-preserved, multi-component Native American village site located on the Monocacy River in Frederick County, Maryland. This possibly palisaded settlement was occupied by peoples of the Montgomery Complex (1000-1450 AD) and the Luray Complex (1300-1500 AD).
