As a nonprofit organization, Friends of the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum relies on the generosity of friends like you to help advance our mission which is dedicated to preserving and sharing the cultural and technological development of Washington County from its inception in 1776 through 1940. The Friends of the WCRHM shepherd a collection of over five thousand objects which include an 1 800s rural Maryland village and artifacts from manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, and early home life. Donating Objects to the Museum

Please complete the form below if you have an item you would like to donate to the museum so it can be preserved for the public's study, education and enjoyment. Our Accessions coordinator will contact you to set up a time to evaluate it to ensure it is related to our mission statement. If you are hoping for a tax deduction for your items, please remember to talk to your accountant or tax specialist to confirm the tax code in your state.
