Spud Fest is the day the potato is King!  It's a fun-filled, potato festival that celebrates one of Boonsboro Maryland's oldest crops and traditions

Potato Picking Contests!

Over $300 in Store Gift Card Prizes for First, Second & Third Place winners, ages two- eleven! Thank you Bonnie's at the Red Byrd. The Potato Harvest

The harvest process used in the 1800's demonstrated as a pair of Draft Horses plow the potato patch for the Kids Potato Picking contest that follows. Saturday only starting 11AM

Pedal Pullers Contest

Think physics is for nerds? Not so! Does your child have the leg power (force) needed to overcome gravity and a skid plate, to see how much weight they can pull down a 25 foot track? Prizes for top winners. Ages 5-9. Activity is organized by the Washington County Antique Tractor Club. Saturday only 12:30PM - 2:30PM

Interpretations about the daily camp life of both Union and Confederate soldiers. Saturday 11am - Noon Author Dr. Emile Amt , D. Phil. Speaking about "African Americans in Washington County During the Civil War" . Saturday 9am - 4pm 3rd MD. Company D and Virginia 21st Regiment, Company F.

Sat. August 26 and Sun. August 27. A great place to view the evolution of early horse powered "trucks". The Antique Truck Club of America(ATCA) National Pike Chapter will be exhibiting their chapter member's trucks.
